REPLACEMENT

1. Lift up the vehicle.

2. Drain the ATF by removing drain plug.

NOTE:

Before starting work, cool off the ATF well.

3. Check the condition of the drained ATF.

CAUTION:

Be careful not to spill the ATF on exhaust pipe to prevent it from emitting smoke or causing fires. If ATF spilled, wipe it off completely with a clean rag.

4. Replace the gasket with new part, and then tighten the drain plug to specified torque.

Tightening torque:

25 N·m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.4 ft-lb)

5. Fill ATF up to the “COLD” side on level gauge by using the gauge hole.

Recommended oil

Refer to “RM” section.

Fluid capacity:

Refill with the same amount of ATF drained from the ATF drain hole.

6. Check the ATF level.
