1. Check the select lever for smooth operation. If it does not move smoothly, check the transmission and drive select lever.

2. Check that Hi and LO changes can be made properly. If it does not switch properly, adjust the drive select cable and check the transmission.

3. Check for damage of the drive select lever. Repair or replace if damaged.
