1. Clean the engine oil cooler cup and installation surface of the engine oil filter.

2. Obtain a new engine oil filter and apply a thin coat of engine oil to the seal rubber.

3. Install the engine oil filter turning it by hand, being careful not to damage the seal rubber.

4. Tighten it with another 3/4 turn after the seal rubber contacts the oil cooler.

5. Install the collector cover.
