WARNING:
Place “NO OPEN FLAMES” signs near the working area.
CAUTION:
• Be careful not to spill fuel.
• Catch the fuel from hoses and pipes using a container or cloth.
1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
2. Lift up the vehicle.
3. Disconnect sub fuel pump harness connector (A).
4. Disconnect hose (B) from the sub fuel pump and fuel damper assembly.
5. Remove the nuts from the bracket.
6. Separate the sub fuel pump harness connector from the sub fuel pump bracket.
7. Remove the sub fuel pump, damper assembly and sub fuel pump bracket.
NOTE:
When removing, take out from between rear sub frame and vehicle body to rear side of vehicle.
8. Disconnect the sub fuel pump hose and remove from the bracket.
