CAUTION:
• If fuel hoses or clamps are damaged, replace them with new parts.
• Install the fuel hoses making sure that there is no twisting.
• Insert hoses until they contact the pipe stopper.
1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Tightening torque:
Fuel filter assembly
18 N·m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)
Clamp
1.25 N·m (0.1 kgf-m, 0.9 ft-lb)
Install clamps in the positions shown in the following figure.

2. Pump the priming pump on top of the fuel filter assembly to fill the fuel system with fuel.
NOTE:
Pump the priming pump until it is stiff.
