FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS)(H4DOTC DIESEL) > Fuel Level Sensor
WARNING:
Place “NO OPEN FLAMES” signs near the working area.
CAUTION:
• Be careful not to spill fuel.
• If the fuel gauge indicates that two thirds or more of the fuel is remaining, be sure to drain fuel before starting work to avoid the fuel to spill.
2. Remove the rear seat.
3. Remove the service hole cover.
(1) Remove the screws (A).
(2) Push the grommet (B) down and remove the service hole cover.
4. Clean dust and other dirt away from the fuel level sensor and surrounding area.
5. Disconnect the harness connector from the fuel level sensor.
6. Disconnect the quick connector of fuel delivery tube, fuel return tube and fuel sub delivery tube. 
7. Remove the nuts securing the fuel level sensor to the fuel tank.
8. Remove the fuel level sensor from the fuel tank.
9. Pull the fuel tube lock upwards, and remove the fuel tube from the fuel level sensor case assembly.
