1. Set the cylinder head on the hydraulic press.
CAUTION:
Place a waste cloth, etc. to avoid scratching the mating surface of the cylinder block.
2. Compress the valve spring using the hydraulic press and ST, and remove the valve collet.

3. Remove each valve, valve spring retainer and valve spring.
NOTE:
• Mark each valve for identification.
• When pulling out the valve, be careful not to damage the lip of the stem seal.
• Organize disassembled parts so that they can be correctly reassembled to their original positions.
4. Place the cylinder block mating surface up, and set to the hydraulic press.
CAUTION:
Place a waste cloth, etc. to avoid scratching the mating surface of the rocker cover.
5. Apply hydraulic pressure to the ST, and remove the valve guide and stem seal.

6. Remove the stem seal from the valve guide.
7. Remove the valve spring sheet.
