Is DTC displayed? 
|
Check the appropriate DTC using the List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). 
|
|
2.CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN GLOW RELAY CONNECTOR AND GLOW PLUG CONNECTOR.
1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
2) Remove the glow relay.
3) Disconnect the connectors from all glow plugs.
4) Measure the resistance of harness between glow relay connector and glow plug connector.

Is the resistance less than 1 Ω?
|
|
Repair the harness and connector.
NOTE:
In this case, repair the following item:
• Open circuit in harness between glow relay connector and glow plug connector
• Poor contact of coupling connector
|
3.CHECK GLOW PLUG.
Measure the resistance of all glow plugs.
NOTE:
Refer to “Glow Plug” for the measurement procedures of glow plugs.

Is the resistance 1 — 2 Ω?
|
|
Replace the faulty glow plug. 
|
4.CHECK POOR CONTACT.
Check for poor contact of glow plug connectors.
|
Is there poor contact in glow plug connectors?
|
Repair the poor contact of glow plug connector.
|
Perform inspection using “General Diagnostic Table”. 
|
