DTC P2633 FUEL PUMP “B” CONTROL CIRCUIT LOW

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:

Detected when two consecutive driving cycles with fault occur.

CAUTION:

After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Mode and Inspection Mode .

WIRING DIAGRAM:

STEP	CHECK	YES	NO
1.CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN ECM AND SUB FUEL PUMP RELAY CONNECTOR. 1) Turn the ignition switch to ON. 2) Measure the voltage between ECM connector and chassis ground. Connector & terminal (B134) No. 11 (+) — Chassis ground (−):	Is the voltage 10 V or more?	Repair the poor contact of ECM.
2.CHECK POWER SUPPLY OF SUB FUEL PUMP RELAY. 1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF. 2) Remove the sub fuel pump relay. 3) Turn the ignition switch to ON. 4) Measure the voltage between sub fuel pump relay connector and chassis ground. Connector & terminal LHD model with push button start (B220) No. 15 (+) — Chassis ground (−): Except for LHD model with push button start (B220) No. 16 (+) — Chassis ground (−):	Is the voltage 10 V or more?		Repair the harness and connector. NOTE: In this case, repair the following item: • Open circuit in harness between sub fuel pump relay connector and fuse & relay box connector • Poor contact of fuse & relay box connector
3.CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN ECM AND SUB FUEL PUMP RELAY CONNECTOR. 1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF. 2) Disconnect the connector from ECM. 3) Measure the resistance of harness between ECM connector and sub fuel pump relay connector. Connector & terminal LHD model with push button start (B134) No. 11 — (B220) No. 16: Except for LHD model with push button start (B134) No. 11 — (B220) No. 15:	Is the resistance less than 1 Ω?		Repair the open circuit of harness between ECM connector and sub fuel pump relay connector.
4.CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN ECM AND SUB FUEL PUMP RELAY CONNECTOR. Measure the resistance between sub fuel pump relay connector and chassis ground. Connector & terminal LHD model with push button start (B220) No. 16 — Chassis ground : Except for LHD model with push button start (B220) No. 15 — Chassis ground :	Is the resistance 1 MΩ or more?		Repair the short circuit to ground in harness between ECM connector and sub fuel pump relay connector.
5.CHECK POOR CONTACT. Check for poor contact in the sub fuel pump relay connector.	Is there poor contact in sub fuel pump relay connector?	Repair the poor contact of sub fuel pump relay connector.	Replace the sub fuel pump relay.
