DTC P1201 INJECTOR CODE FAILURE (NOT WRITTEN)

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:

Immediately at fault recognition

TROUBLE SYMPTOM:

• Hard to start

• Poor acceleration

• Poor driving performance

• Black smoke emitted

• Engine noise

CAUTION:

After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Mode and Inspection Mode .

STEPCHECKYESNO

1.CHECK FOR ANY OTHER DTC ON DISPLAY.

Is any other DTC displayed?

Check the appropriate DTC using the “List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)”.

2.REGISTER INJECTOR CODE.

1) Perform the “injector code registration”.

2) Start the engine.

3) Check for DTC.

Is P1201, P1202 or P1203 displayed?

Replace the ECM.

Perform the “Fuel injector injection amount learning”.
