ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS)(H4DOTC DIESEL) > Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:

Detected when two consecutive driving cycles with fault occur.

TROUBLE SYMPTOM:

• Poor acceleration

• Black smoke emitted

• Engine noise

CAUTION:

After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Mode and Inspection Mode

STEP	CHECK	YES	NO
1.CHECK FOR ANY OTHER DTC ON DISPLAY.	Is any other DTC displayed?	Check the appropriate DTC using the “List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)”.
2.CHECK AIR INTAKE SYSTEM.	Are there holes, loose bolts or disconnection of hose on air intake system?	Repair the air intake system.	Replace the manifold absolute pressure and intake air temperature sensor.
