DTC P0016 CRANKSHAFT POSITION - CAMSHAFT POSITION CORRELATION (BANK1)

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:

Detected when two consecutive driving cycles with fault occur.

TROUBLE SYMPTOM:

• Engine stalls.

• Improper idling

CAUTION:

After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Mode and Inspection Mode .

1.CHECK CONDITION OF CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR AND CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR.

Are crankshaft position sensor installation bolt and camshaft position sensor installation bolt tightened securely?

Check the installation condition of timing chain and repair or replace if necessary.

Tighten crankshaft position sensor installation bolt and camshaft position sensor installation bolt securely.
