DTC B1404 SMART REGISTRATION FAILURE

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:

Ends with error during keyless access registration.

TROUBLE SYMPTOM:

Engine does not start because immobilizer registration is not completed.

STEP	CHECK	YES	NO
1.CHECK CONNECTOR. Check the connection of connector.	Is the connecting condition of connector OK?		Connect the connector securely and perform the immobilizer registration.
2.IMMOBILIZER REGISTRATION. Perform immobilizer registration using the Subaru Select Monitor.	Is immobilizer registration completed normally.	Communication timing disagreement has existed, but system is normal.
3.CHECK KEYLESS ACCESS INDOOR ANTENNA. Check the connection of front antenna connector.	Is the connecting condition of connector OK?		Connect the connector securely and perform the immobilizer registration.
4.IMMOBILIZER REGISTRATION. Perform immobilizer registration using the Subaru Select Monitor.	Is immobilizer registration completed normally.	Communication timing disagreement has existed, but system is normal.	Read the DTC of the collation CM and power supply CM.
