REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.

2. Remove the strut cap of the quarter trim.

3. Loosen the rear wheel nuts. Lift up the vehicle, then remove the rear wheels.

4. Disconnect the connector from the rear vehicle height sensor. (HID model, right side only)

5. Remove the nuts that hold the lateral link and rear vehicle height sensor bracket. (HID model, right side only)

6. Remove bolt (A) and clip (B) fixing the rear vehicle height sensor bracket to the crossmember, then remove the rear vehicle height sensor assembly. (HID model, right side only)

7. Remove the brake hose clip and remove the brake hose from rear strut.

8. Remove the bolts which secure the rear strut to the housing.

CAUTION:

Do not apply excessive tension to the brake hose and ABS wheel speed sensor harness.

9. Remove the nuts which secure the strut mount to the vehicle body.
