DTC P0327 KNOCK SENSOR 1 CIRCUIT LOW (BANK 1 OR SINGLE SENSOR)

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:

Immediately at fault recognition

TROUBLE SYMPTOM:

• Poor driving performance

• Knocking occurs.

CAUTION:

After repairing or replacing the defective part, perform the Clear Memory Mode and Inspection Mode .

WIRING DIAGRAM:

STEP	CHECK	YES	NO
1.CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN KNOCK SENSOR AND ECM CONNECTOR. 1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF. 2) Disconnect the connectors from ECM and knock sensor. 3) Measure the resistance between ECM harness connector and knock sensor connector. Connector & terminal (B134) No. 15 — (E14) No. 1: (B134) No. 29 — (E14) No. 2:	Is the resistance less than 5 Ω?		Repair the harness and connector. NOTE: In this case, repair the following item: • Open circuit of harness between knock sensor and ECM connector • Poor contact of knock sensor connector • Poor contact of coupling connector
2.CHECK KNOCK SENSOR. 1) Measure the resistance between knock sensor connector terminals. Terminals No. 2 — No. 1:	Is the resistance 700 kΩ or more?		Repair the harness and connector. NOTE: In this case, repair the following item: • Poor contact of knock sensor connector • Poor contact of coupling connector
3.CHECK INSTALLATION CONDITION OF KNOCK SENSOR.	Is the knock sensor installation bolt tightened securely?	Replace the knock sensor.	Tighten the knock sensor installation bolt securely.
